    donate your worn-out crocstm shoes at participating retail locations. you can recognize participating retailer partners through posted "authorized collection center" window stickers at the retailer’s entrance.

    those without a nearby retailer can participate by mailing their worn-out crocstm footwear directly to the SolesUnitedsm program.

  3. recycle

    once worn-out crocstm footwear are received, they are sorted, ground up and made into new SolesUnitedtm recycled shoes.

    these recycled shoes are loaded into containers and are picked up at the warehouse by our shipping partners, who then send them to approved non-profit organizations around the world.

  4. donate

    SolesUnitedsm shipping partners work with organizations that can assure shoes will be delivered to those who need them.

    to date we have donated over 1 million pairs of shoes. in 2008, our goal is to donate 2 million pairs of recycled shoes to those in need.

    yes, all styles of crocstm shoes can be donated to the SolesUnitedsm program. the re-manufacturing process involves sorting the shoes at our warehouse, so there are no limits to what types of crocstm shoes can be donated.

  • can YOU by crocstm shoes be donated? how about ocean mindedtm and bitetm models?

    we can only accept crocstm footwear core styles for donation.

  • can i track where my donated shoes end up?

    supporters cannot track their individual donation, however, information and photos from donation missions will be shared on the SolesUnitedsm web site, under the “our friends” tab.

  • can i choose which charity partner my donation goes to?

    while customers cannot choose which charity partner their donation goes to, the SolesUnitedsm program is continually looking for new partners. if you have an organization interested in participating, please contact info( put the “at” symbol here)solesunited.com.

    the SolesUnitedtm shoes are made out of 20 percent recycled proprietary croslitetm material.

    SolesUnitedtm crocstm shoes are made from the same recycled proprietary croslitetm material as the donated shoes, yet these shoes are sold exclusively at select retail outlets and on the crocs website. These shoes are unique in that not only are they constructed out of a portion of recycled material, but for each pair of SolesUnitedtm recycled shoes purchased, Crocs, Inc. will match the purchase by donating a pair of recycled shoes through the SolesUnitedsm program.

    in 2008, we plan to make donations with the help of our shipping partners and other 501c3 organizations to the following countries: Armenia, Cambodia, Chad, Darfur, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Malawi, Mali, Moldova, Philippines, Romania, Swaziland, Tanzania, Thailand, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
